Emmanuel Ruffo blog site has been launched in order to share and inform people about his research in both different academic context and in the practice of Architecture. Emmanuel Ruffo blog site will be displaying either collaboration projects with other companies and in different studios all over the world, different investigation processes for design, theoretical work, philosophical thoughts and academic research.
One of the main purposes of this blog site is to explain the evolutionary process of Emmanuel Ruffo in different fields and disciplines. His interests intersects a continuous investigation from computer science, through structural geometry and parametric design, to complex modeling, digital fabrication, material intelligence, real-time behavior and physical computation.
Emmanuel Ruffo experience has been gained thanks to the exploration of many different scenarios in Austria, China, Mexico, Italy, Spain, United Kingdome and the United States of America. Since 1998 he started experiencing as an Architect in Mexico. In 2001 he graduated from Architecture and in 2003 as a graphic designer and language programmer. He worked in Mexico for different architectural practices and in early 2004 he moved to Barcelona where he studied a postgraduate master program in Architectural Design.
Since 2000 Emmanuel Ruffo has won several prizes in America, Europe and the Middle East. He has been interviewed, published and has been invited to exhibit his work and investigations in Argentina, Austria, Chile, China, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdome and in the United States of America.
Emmanuel Ruffo believes every single moment in life has an exponential effect. That's the reason this blog is also an open form to say thanks to all the people that has contributed to the ontogenetic and evolutionary process of Emmanuel Ruffo. It is difficult to remember all of the people you can meet in life but he is sure that every single person he has met in the past and will meet in the future, will help to increase his knowledge and creativity.
